One Stop Shop Outfit: H&M Edition
I want to bring a new 'series' to the blog that I'll be doing every week where I create an edit of an outfit where all of the pieces are solely from one shop. The shop I've chosen to start with? H&M. It's an easy choice as it has a plethora of choices for both clothing and accessories, and there's often something for everyone.
After scouring the AW19 catwalks, the silhouette I've seen over and over again has been the blouse-comme-midi skirt combo. It's an updated seventies staple and it'll soon become yours too over this autumn and winter.
Midi-skirts paired with over the knee boots will prove to be a hit during these cooler months: they look chic and give an extra layer of warmth. I'd pair up this zebra print number with a cream blouse and a white blazer. I'd then pop this gorgeous chocolate belt bag over my blazer to cinch in my waist and help create an hourglass shape. This silhouette would work for all body types as the slightly flared skirt creates the illusion of a smaller waist, which is accentuated by the belt bag. To finish the outfit, I'd keep things simply with these mismatched pearl and gold earrings. Mismatched earrings are a big trend over the next few months and at £6.99, these are one of the best affordable pairs that I've seen so far.
What would your take on the midi-skirt trend be? Would you try it out?
