Patches, patches, patches...

September 2, 2016

Patches are making a huge entrance this season, and seem to be the easiest way of creating a transitional look between summer and autumn. Patches are easy to rock on pretty much any piece of clothing; t-shirts, jeans, bomber jackets and clutch bags. I picked up this top with the patch already sewn on, but you can easily update an item of clothing with patches from places like Etsy where original artists are selling their work- with this in mind, be careful of picking up patches which may be copied from other artists, and check out 'shoparttheft' to see what to look out for when shopping in places like ZARA and Pull&Bear. To keep the look fun, I paired the oversized tee with ripped skinny jeans and a simple black velvet choker. As it was sunny, I picked up some reflective blue tinted sunglasses which drew out the blue from the patch. Ideally, I would've paired this with a silver, black or red mini backpack and possibly a bold red lip if I was feeling it.
