Coming into my room, you would find that the bed doubles up as a sofa thanks to all the pillows, and the shelves are packed full of things I would consider essential to student life for me personally- coffee, books and a wine glass.
Choosing university room decor was one of my favourite parts of getting ready for university. Although choosing a room theme was hard, I eventually decided to go for a fairly neutral theme, with accents of copper and leaf detailing. I wanted to make sure that my colour scheme would fit with any university room layout and colours, so I played it safe.
Although there are different feels to the room during both the day and the evening, I tried to make sure that it was always cosy and reflective of me! After all, your university room is somewhere you'll be spending a fair amount of time in- whether that's to relax after a long day at uni or to do some uni work if you're not a library kind of person. Making your room reflective of you, and making it a positive environment can certainly help to add to making university a positive experience!
